Reconstruction of the Potential Function and its Derivatives for the Diffusion Operator

چکیده
The inverse nodal problem was initiated by McLaughlin [1], who proved that the Sturm-Liouville problem is uniquely determined by any dense subset of the nodal points. Some numerical schemes were given by Hald and McLaughlin [2] for the reconstruction of the potential. Recently Law, Yang and other authors have reconstructed the potential function and its derivatives of the Sturm-Liouville problem from the nodal points [3 – 7]. In this paper, we are concerned with the inverse nodal problem for the diffusion operator on a finite interval. We reconstruct the potential function and all its derivatives by using Law’s and Yang’s method [7]. The diffusion operator is written as Ly = −y′′ +[q(x)+ 2λ p(x)]y, (1.1)

Inverse nodal problem for p-Laplacian with two potential functions
In this study, inverse nodal problem is solved for the p-Laplacian operator with two potential functions. We present some asymptotic formulas which have been proved in [17,18] for the eigenvalues, nodal points and nodal lengths, provided that a potential function is unknown. Then, using the nodal points we reconstruct the potential function and its derivatives. We also introduce a solution of i...
متن کاملInverse Problem for Interior Spectral Data of the Dirac Operator with Discontinuous Conditions
In this paper, we study the inverse problem for Dirac differential operators with discontinuity conditions in a compact interval. It is shown that the potential functions can be uniquely determined by the value of the potential on some interval and parts of two sets of eigenvalues. Also, it is shown that the potential function can be uniquely determined by a part of a set of values of eigenfun...
متن کاملDilations, models, scattering and spectral problems of 1D discrete Hamiltonian systems
In this paper, the maximal dissipative extensions of a symmetric singular 1D discrete Hamiltonian operator with maximal deficiency indices (2,2) (in limit-circle cases at ±∞) and acting in the Hilbert space ℓ_{Ω}²(Z;C²) (Z:={0,±1,±2,...}) are considered. We consider two classes dissipative operators with separated boundary conditions both at -∞ and ∞. For each of these cases we establish a self...
متن کاملBlock-Based Compressive Sensing Using Soft Thresholding of Adaptive Transform Coefficients
Compressive sampling (CS) is a new technique for simultaneous sampling and compression of signals in which the sampling rate can be very small under certain conditions. Due to the limited number of samples, image reconstruction based on CS samples is a challenging task. Most of the existing CS image reconstruction methods have a high computational complexity as they are applied on the entire im...
متن کاملBlood Flow Restriction and Its Function in Post- Operative Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Therapy: Expert Opinion
An increasingly popular method for post-operative rehabilitation of an ACL reconstruction, as a substitute for traditionaltherapy, is blood flow restriction therapy (BFR). BFR therapy utilizes a pneumatic cuff to simulate strenuous exercisein an effort to stimulate muscle recruitment, mitigate atrophy, and promote hypertrophy in patients with load-bearinglimitations. Because t...
